Super Visa
A Super visa is offered to parents and grandparents. This is also a form of Temporary Resident Visa or Visit Visa. The difference is it is for a much longer period. The duration of a Super Visa is for 10 years. Parents or Grandparents have the option of staying in Canada for an extended period of time (this is usually 2 years at a time).
- Valid passport from each applicant
- Applicants must prove that they possess sufficient funds to support themselves and their family for the entire period of their visit.
- Employment evidence that confirms applicant’s return to native country such as:
- Confirmation document from employer regarding the salary and duration of employment and/ or employment contract
- Leave grant letter from employer
- Salary statements
If applicant is self employed his/her business license and/or registration
- Proof of Personal Funds
- Letter of invitation and/or statutory declaration of support from family or friend
- Confirmation of immigration status of invite
- For visa applicants lacking any invitation must submit detailed program including evidence of air ticket and hotel booking
